I believe that Austria helped me to change this approach.
#The black flag drivers
"Under the 'let them race' philosophy that the teams, the F1 Group, the drivers and the FIA have worked together on throughout the year, and giving the teams the advice at the last event in Spa, we will be using the black and white flag more often," said Masi.Ĭharles Leclerc: "I think since Austria it's clear that we can go a bit further in the way that we defend and overtake. It was issued again a week later in front-running circumstances at Monza in the fight for victory after Leclerc squeezed Hamilton's Mercedes wide under braking for the second chicane.Įxplaining the flag's return to prominence in his post-race appearance at the SkyPad in Sky F1's coverage at Monza, FIA race director Michael Masi said the change had come at the "request" from teams and drivers. Toro Rosso's Pierre Gasly was given the warning at Spa for moving under braking in battle with Kevin Magnussen. This franchise needs a new engine if it's going to do everything Ubisoft wants it to do.Although the flag has always been available in Formula 1, the recent Belgian GP was the first time it had been used in a Grand Prix since 2010. 10 hours in and I had to set it aside from boredom. I would give it stars for its awesome animations and a great try at the concept (i've been hoping for a game like this for like 15 years) but for me it's incomplete. Sailing up to an island only to find out that it's just a polygon wall with a rock texture on it ruins the experience.over and over and over again. Pirate ships really need true open world openness. Besides that, AC has never been a truly open-world franchise. They've been pasting the same **** side quests into every AC game since AC1 despite that being the biggest complaint for every game in the series. Unfortunately it took place in Assassins Creed and if Ubisoft is good at anything, it's using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Had this concept taken place in any other franchise, say Just Cause, GTA, it could have been great. When you start to see ships to plunder and go "nah, I don't want to deal with another cutscene of some simpering captain" you know this game is dead.

I haven't gotten into the online play yet, but am actually looking forward to playing online to get to 100% completion, as well as to play around with the training modules. But, all in all, I really enjoyed this game. For instance, during one of the naval battles for one of the forts, I literally got stuck between 2 boxes and it took about 10 minutes to get out of them. and (b) the controls on the Wii U can be a bit clunky and glitchy.

If it's an "open world" concept, why can't you access all areas during all memories. My only real complaints with the game are (a) the constant "Area Not Available During this Memory" popups when you're trying to avoid getting crushed by 15 ships. I had a blast playing this game, but I do see how true gamers would get annoyed with what seems to be repetitive quests and side games. I would not call myself a true "gamer" because, although I've owned a few systems, I've only truly completed about 3 games in my life (the I would not call myself a true "gamer" because, although I've owned a few systems, I've only truly completed about 3 games in my life (the original Tomb Raider, Super Mario 64, Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition and AC4) - not counting the Mario Karts.
